We’ve graduated…Penguin Teachers’ Academy

As most of you are aware, Penguin Teachers’ Corner has been providing Professional Development Days for teachers and librarians for quite some time. Over the years we have listened to your feedback and as a direct result we have created Penguin Teachers’ Academy.

Our Goal – To provide teachers, librarians and educational support staff with valuable professional learning, relevant and topical in your libraries and classrooms. Professional learning that can inform teaching and learning practices, complete with resources to take away and use immediately.

We understand that your professional learning needs to align not only with the curriculum, but your school Annual Implementation Plan and your own commitment to your continued professional development.

With these factors and many others in mind, we offer teachers, librarians and educational support staff an ongoing program of professional development opportunities, giving you access to the very best educational speakers, authors and illustrators.

Our calendar of scheduled professional learning opportunities will be updated regularly and we aim to provide you with workshops all through the year. You can download the program for November 2012 to February 2013 HERE.
